Busy Will Get You Nowhere

Busy doesn’t mean productive and never mistake motion for action.

Busyness is having lots to do or remaining occupied, but very little to do with getting anything done.

You can actually be less busy and more productive and vice versa.

People are very rarely able to make this distinction and as a result find themselves often stuck in a whirlwind, going around in circles, yet never moving forward.

Being productive breaks this cycle and moves the needle

It’s about having some tangible outcome as a direct result of your effort.

It’s knowing the difference between what’s urgent and what’s important.

But how do you do that exactly?

Much also depends on how you relate to time.

On how you prioritize

On establishing boundaries

On how you manage your attention

How you manage your energy

And in how you make the transition from being a consumer, to being a producer.
