The restless heart is like a beacon calling you to some higher purpose, the inability to sit content, until you’ve found your way back home.
Despite all your successes, it’s something that keeps calling you to do more, to be more
A signal that something is off, that something is not quite aligned.
On the surface we have everything, and couldn’t possibly want for more
Life, by modern standards, is good.
But yet, your restless heart endures.
Seeking to be comforted,
Seeking respite and rest.
Seeking reunion with that missing part of itself
Seeking to have those parts that lay dormant, awakened.
And that potential, fully realized
Not in acquiring more worldly goods
But rather in growing into what you were born to become
The fullness of who you are and what you can be.
So perhaps it’s time to attend to that restless heart of yours,
Not by doing or wanting more,
But by doing what you know you should be doing.
Only then, can you begin putting your restless heart to rest.
