Right on the edge

There’s a very fine line between genius and madness
Between going and staying

good and bad

right and wrong.

There’s sometimes a fine line between emotion and reason

movement and stillness

success and failure

even life and death.

And you are on that line at every minute of every day

Sometimes you get tipped right over
And other times you hesitate and stumble
And once in a while you muster the courage to make a call
To decide which way to go.

That’s not the easy way, and you could totally get it wrong
But sometimes getting it wrong is what ultimately gets you where you need to be.
