Everybody is Religious, But Not Everybody Knows It

The question is not whether or not you’re religious,

the question is,

what is it you worship?

Religion, as a system of belief about the ways of the world, is ingrained in all of us.

It’s a set of dogma’s we live by, whether conscious of them or not.

We need to believe something, in order to navigate and make sense of the world

So the questions remain, what is it that you believe exactly?

What is it that you’re committing your life to?

In the absence of invoking a deity as such, you’re still invoking, but something else

Your beliefs are very much reflected (and expressed) in how you live your life.

In the choices you make and how you act in the world.

You have come to accept that things just are the way they are

But you still exhibit worship in your daily rituals and routines,

You make decisions about how and on what to spend your time (and money) – this being a reflection of where you place the most value.

So religion in this sense, is alive and well.

The only thing you need to consider, is whether or not you want to choose your dogma – or have the times dictate it to you.
