Never Enough

It doesn’t matter how much we accumulate , we always want more

It never seems to be enough

Before we’re finished with what we’re doing,

We’re already looking to the next thing

The next experience

Looking for that next hit, like addicts looking for a quick fix.

But there is no quick fix

Trying so hard to fill the emptiness with experiences, people or things,  by killing time itself.

Not realizing,

That you can’t fill an infinite void, with temporal things

So how much then, is enough?

How much time? How much money?

How many things?

How many people, how many followers?

How many likes? How many lovers?

Answer that, and you’re well on your way to setting yourself free
