The stronger the roots, the more likely it is you weather the storms.

Without roots, you wither away and die.

The roots provide a sense of place and belonging

Order and predictability

The roots allow for movement, but will not ever be defined by them.

It’s the roots that provide strength and stability

It’s from the roots, that you receive your nourishment.

Without the roots, you will go where the winds blow

Aimlessly adrift.

Roots are not the thing that limit or hinder you, they are what reinforce you

They allow you to grow up and out into the world

The life blood of your journey

The thing that keeps you grounded.

And as much as you try to detach yourself from your roots, in reality, your roots will forever be rooted in you.

Don’t look back in anger, maintain the hope And be determined to do things a little different.

  • Communication is not a one way street
Communication is not a one way street. It’s not about talking, it’s about listening. It’s not about reacting, it’s about responding. It’s not about knowing, It’s about understanding. It’s not about judgement or pretense It’s about connection.
  • Leaving it all behind
Some things are certainly worth holding onto -  Others we just hold onto because we are too afraid to say goodbye.  Not because we can’t But because doing so means facing our own mortality
